    Chase Ryan

    Chase Ryan is a carpenter and designer focused on creating human-centered spaces through thoughtful construction, enduring materials, and timeless design. Drawing from a decade of hands-on experience and a deep interest in vernacular architecture, his work emphasizes durability, repairability, and material honesty. His work bridges furniture, interiors, and architectural detailing—often utilizing salvaged or overlooked materials. Rooted in traditional joinery and non-toxic finishes, each project is built to age with dignity and remain maintainable over time.

  • Chandler Abbey

    Chandler Abbey is a creative who brings a design-forward approach to every Cedrus project, from custom furniture and interiors to construction, visual communication, and creative direction. He is known for his attention to detail, thoughtful problem-solving, and ability to connect concept with execution. Chandler holds a degree in Design Media Arts from UCLA and has over a decade of experience across the art, design, and surf industries, along with several years working as a carpenter.

    JJ Cruz is a safety professional and relationship builder who believes the strongest projects are rooted in trust, communication, and shared purpose. Drawing from years of experience leading safety initiatives in the commercial construction space, he brings a people-first perspective to every endeavor. As a close collaborator of Cedrus, JJ helps cultivate partnerships, connect communities, and support the systems that allow good work to happen. He is, in many ways, a conduit—bringing together the people, knowledge, and opportunities that make meaningful projects possible.
